Feng Chia University Mainland China Alumni Association Annual Gathering Draws Nearly 400 Alumni in Shanghai to Celebrate the Spirit of “Co-Goodness”

The Feng Chia University Mainland China Alumni Association held its annual gathering on January 18 at Le Méridien Shanghai Minhang. Centered on the theme “United in Shanghai, Building a Co-Good Future Through Loyalty, Diligence, Integrity, and Sincerity,” the event featured 36 banquet tables and brought together alumni from Shanghai, Jiangsu, South China, Sichuan-Chongqing, Fujian, Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan. Together with representatives from their alma mater and distinguished guests, nearly 400 members of the Feng Chia family gathered to celebrate. The event showcased the strong cohesion of Feng Chia alumni worldwide and demonstrated how the University’s spirit of “Co-Goodness” continues to flourish and be passed on across borders.

逢甲大學雲林縣校友會於2025年3月1日在斗六三好國際酒店隆重舉行第五屆第一次會員大會。經由正式投票程序，施明海學長以高票當選，成功連任第五屆會長，展現校友們對其卓越領導力的肯定與支持。

Feng Chia University Confers Honorary Doctorate Degree on Its Fifth Outstanding Alumnus, Ma Wen‑Ching

Ma Wen‑Ching, Chairman of Ramatex Berhad in Malaysia and a 1972 graduate of the Overseas Youth Vocational Training School (Textile Program) at Feng Chia University, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Feng Chia University on December 7 during the 41st “Feng Chia Night,” the annual gala of the Malaysia Feng Chia University Alumni Association. In front of nearly 1,200 alumni, Ma received the honorary doctorate certificate and commemorative medal from Chairperson Cheng‑Shu Kao and President Wang, Wei. He is the eighth individual in the university’s history to receive this distinction—an honor fully befitting his exceptional achievements.

Craftsmanship Across Borders: When the Legendary Woodcraft of Kung Tung Technical Senior High School Meets Japan’s Master Artisans

From August 12 to August 21, the Taichung Architectural Culture and Education Foundation hosted the event “Kung Tung Technical Senior High School × Tokushima Woodcraft Artisan Cross‑Cultural Exchange” at Feng Chia University. The opening ceremony, held yesterday (August 12), was attended by Chairperson Cheng‑Shu Kao of the Foundation (also Chairperson of Feng Chia University), Vice‑Chairperson Lily Chang (Chairperson of Long‑Bon Construction), Vice‑Chairperson Shwu‑Ting Lee (Vice‑President of Feng Chia University), board members, President Wang, Wei of Feng Chia University, Principal Kung‑Jung Lee of Kung Tung Technical Senior High School, and Futoshi Wakida, Section Chief of the Tokushima Prefectural Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
