Let Kindness Continue, Let Love Live On: First Recipient of the President Paul-Lung Chang Memorial Scholarship Returns to Give Back

Ten years ago, a scholarship enabled her to study in Spain. Ten years later, she returned to Feng Chia University with gratitude and donated NT$100,000 so that the kindness she received could continue to benefit future students. On June 16, Yi-Chun Hung, an alumna of the Department of Photonics, returned to campus to donate NT$100,000 to the President Paul-Lung Chang Memorial Scholarship. Her donation fulfilled a promise she had made a decade ago and demonstrated how the seeds of care and generosity planted by the late “Angel President,” President Paul-Lung Chang, continue to bear fruit.

The 8th Feng Chia University English Presentation Contest, organized by the Foreign Language Center and sponsored by the Feng Chia University Alumni Educational Foundation of Taipei, successfully concluded this year. International Students Shine in Chinese Speech and Singing Competition: “AI and Me” Takes Center Stage

The Center for General Education and the International Freshman Program (PMP) held the final round of the 2026 Seventh International Student Chinese Speech and Singing Competition on May 22 at the Ninth International Conference Hall, with the event also streamed live online. A total of 76 students from 19 academic departments and eight countries—Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Germany, the United States, and Burkina Faso—registered for the competition.

24 Years of Giving Back: Kaohsiung FCU Huan-Hsi-Jen Association Returns to Campus to Support Students

Demonstrating the enduring spirit of giving back to their alma mater, alumni of Feng Chia University once again returned to campus on May 14. The Kaohsiung FCU Huan-Hsi-Jen Association held its Scholarship Award Ceremony for the second semester of Academic Year 2025–2026 at the Sixth International Conference Hall, providing tangible support to students in need. For 24 consecutive years, the Association has remained committed to helping younger generations pursue their studies while exemplifying FCU’s strong alumni network and tradition of mutual support.

The Alumni Association of the Graduate Institute of Financial and Economic Law at Feng Chia University held its Second General Assembly of the Second Term on April 26 under the theme of “Legacy and the Common Good.” Witnessed by President Wei Wang and distinguished guests from academia, government, and industry, founding president Chun-Hao Liu officially passed leadership responsibilities to the newly elected president, Pi-Chen Lin, highlighting the strong tradition of mentorship and continuity among FCU legal professionals.

Distinguished Alumnus Dr. Wen‑Ching Ma Renews His Commitment, Bringing Total Contributions to NTD 200 Million Dr. Wen‑Ching Ma, Chairman of Lima Corporation and a Distinguished Alumnus (5th cohort) of Feng Chia University, recently announced another major donation during the 50th Anniversary Gala of the Lima Group. In a gesture of gratitude and giving back, Dr. Ma pledged additional support to both his hometown alma mater Yongping High School and his university alma mater, Feng Chia University.
